Manny brought this home from school today... A closer look.... It's suppose to say, "My daddy has a green light saber." I wonder what his teacher thought when she wrote this: "A green, red and blue life saver? And it makes noise? Ooooookay."

If you have ever met my son, Christian, you know the kind of chaos he can create. If you haven't, let me give you an example. Yesterday, Christian was bored and decided to stuff the toilet with paper towels. The toilet was so full that it looked like the towels had soaked up all of the water. I was able to get them all out of the toilet, but for some reason it's draining slow. John thinks he may have shoved a toy down there. I wouldn't put it past him. Then, he peed on the deck, on his bed, on the floor of his bedroom, on the floor next to the toilet, and on the floor in the living room. I have no idea why he's doing this. He has been going potty in the toilet for about two weeks now. I think he knows it drives me insane, and is trying to send me to the loony bin. Next, he found our [nearly] $10 diaper rash cream (Mustela Vitamin Barrier Cream) and proceeded to empty it's contents on his hands, arms, legs, and chest (at least his body will be super soft and rash free). But one of the more interesting things that happened, took place when John came home from work; for some reason our son likes coffee (no joke). If you leave your coffee in arms reach, Christian will drink it. John forgot this, and left has Starbucks iced venti coffee on the table in the living room, Christian drank it (only a couple of sips, don't want ya to think he sucked down the whole thing). How many two year olds do you know that like coffee? Well, now you know at least one....you're welcome :) I don't want it to sound like Christian is out of control, most days are pretty subdued in the Bauson home. However, we also have days when the kids decide to shake it up a bit. Yesterday was one of those days. ps.....for you Giants fans, if you're anything like me, last night was super depressing. Keep your heads up. As John said to me last night, while I was wallowing in my sorrow, there's still two games left. It wouldn't be Giants baseball if they didn't take it to seven games. Don't stop believing :) (btw...Manny is starting to memorize this song. That's how often we listen to it here) Labels: update

John was invited to the Phillies vs Giants game yesterday. He left at 10 a.m. and didn't get home until 6 p.m. (he blames traffic). While at the game Cody Ross threw a ball. Directly to him. He failed to catch said ball. He blames it on the sun, and the beer, and the guy sitting in front of him. Whatever dude, we know you aren't the most coordinated, and this is why we love you. Edited to add...this has nothing to do with anything, but Christian refuses to wear underwear, and I am tired of fighting him. He is nekkid nearly all of the time now. Labels: funnies

1. Jershey Shore gifs crack me up. 2. I'm happy urine is sterile. Sometimes Christian doesn't tell me when he has "accidents". I don't find them until they're mostly dry. (btw...I put accidents in quotes bc I'm sure he does it on purpose, therefore they aren't really accidents) 3. I am also happy that I don't have a huge aversion to crap. Otherwise, I'm sure it would have been my shoes that Christian took a dump on. (Yes, Christian crapped on John's shoes, be sure to bring it up the next time you talk to him.) 4. Apparently Manny doesn't like dogs in shopping carts. This is what he told the lady at Target. 5. Coconut oil is amazing. Jackson has had a horrible diaper rash for about a week now. It was so bad it was bleeding. One applicate of coconut oil, and it looked 100x better. Apparently it works on a bunch of other things too....who knew? 6. They make skinny jeans for four year olds...um, wut? 7. Lastly, John is going to the Giants game tomorrow. I'm jealous. Labels: gibberish

I have a new addiction; buying cloth diaper covers. It has replaced my shoe and purse addiction. I mean, look at how cute they are! I can buy coordinating diapers to match his shirts and pants. Plus, around Christmas time I can buy festive covers! John should be thrilled. My shoes and purses ran, on average, $30 (I have kids now, I'm on a budget...lol). These awesome diaper covers range $10-$13. (I buy from twinkletoesdiapers and FluffyDiapers in case you're interested) I need to stop buying them for a while, or John may perform an intervention. Funny face. Taking a nap before the Giants game. He needed to conserve energy. So happy to be with Great Grandma. Labels: photoblog
